Circles Galore Card and Video 2

Well here is my second attempt at a video, but this time I decided to not talk and use music instead.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy.  The card is very simple but I think it turned out pretty anyway.  Hope you like it.

Tissue Paper Flower card

Here is a card I made after looking in one of the Papercrafts Magazines that had a similar flower on one of their cards.  I really loved it so I had to try it.  I used white tissue paper then inked it with Antique Paper ink from Tim Holtz and a Studio G ink that is a very light pink.  Then I sprayed it with Frost spray to make it sparkle and then added it to the card using patterned paper from Basic Grey's Sweet Threads collection and a little lace ribbon for interest.  The sentiment stamp is from Studio G and they are selling it at Micheals right now.  I thought it turned out very pretty.  I will say I did not vary much from the card in the magazine because I was mostly working on creating the flower, but even though the idea is not original I made it and added my own touches to the project.  Hope you like it!

Kathy's Lily Pad Palette Challenge

This is my entry for the Challenge.  I love this little girl in the overalls from The Greeting Farm, she is so cute and the dog, sentiment and butterfly are from Hero Arts Happy Day Animals set.  I used Copic markers to color all of the elements and used patterned paper from SEI and My Mind's Eye.  Hope you like it.

Oyster Card

This card was created using the Lettering Delights Something Fishy collection.  I made the shell out of baby pink cardstock and layered it with patterned paper from the Stella and Rose paper from Basic Grey.  Then I used patterned paper for the background from Cosmo Cricket's Salt Air collection for the water.  The sand is cream cardstock that I embossed and then used some Antique Paper ink from Tim Holtz' distressed inks.  Behind the oyster is a Action Wobble and I also sprayed the oyster with frost spray to make him shine like a pearl and then I added two googly eyes.    Then I used a stamp from Inkadinkado for the sentiment and sprinkled some pearls all over the sand.  It was fun to make and those Action Wobbles are fun too.

Kitty Smile card

I had to use my new Paper Smooches stamp set on this one.  I used the Chubby Chums stamp set for the kitty on paper from the Sweet Threads collection by Basic Grey.  I thought it looked like fur which is why I picked it.  Behind the kitty is two pieces of white cardstock that I just inked to get the brown paper and the other I just inked the edge only.  I used a patterned paper in green as the background ( I can't remember where I got it from) and then added a corduroy flower and a flower that I punched out from a book that I got at the Goodwill store.  The crisscross stamp is from a Basic Grey stamp set and the smile stamp ( I am not sure which stamp set it came from, sorry).
Actually all of the card was done months ago except for the cat and his two background pieces but it was just toooooo plain so I just waited until I could think up something to finish it off.  Yeah, I finally found something!  I thought this turned out to be very cute!  Hope you like it.

Hello Flower Card

This card was created by using a digital stamp that I got and I don't even remember where, but I love the flower!  I also just got some new Studio G wooden stamps from Michaels and that is what I used for the sentiment.  The black and yellow are colored cardstock and the patterned paper is from the DCWV Lemon Flower paper pack. I thought it turned out to be very pretty.

Card-egory for the day!

Well, I am going to try to get this thing up and going and hope all goes well.  My first card that I am posting on my blog is one I created a little while ago.  I hope you like it.  I will try to keep track of the items that I use to make my cards in the future, but right now I will just be happy if this post looks good.
