Secret Santa box for a friend at work.

We are doing Secret Santa at work and I wanted to do something fun for the final gift box so I made this to put my person's final gift in.  This is a file from SVGcuts.com.  I think it is called Winter Chills.

Christmas cards 2013

Well, I have been working my little fingers to the bone this year making a slew of Christmas cards and I just wanted to share them with you.  Many of these were inspired by people I have seen on the web.  So I hope you enjoy and maybe these will inspire you as well.

These two SNOW cards and the BRIGHT cards below were inspired by Savannahland.

This is a svg file from Myscrapchick.com from the gingerbread collection.

I can't remember where I saw this technique but you stamp with Stazon ink on the front of some acetate and then on the back of the acetate you put paint each section then add the color glitter you want on each section.  When you are done it looks like this.

These are from myscrapchick.com as well.  I made 32 of these (8 of each) to give to people at work.  They actually when together pretty quickly.  This set is called Winter faces.

My Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge Entry

Here is my entry in the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge.  You had to use the four colors; yellow, pale blue, aqua, and green,  I used a paper pad from Heidi Grace "Sunshowers" and paper pieced the bird from Paper Smooches "Chubbie Chums" and used copic markers on the pole, branch, bird house and bird from Paper Smooches "Let's Hang Out."  I hope you like it, let me know what you think.

My Lawnscaping Challenge #60 Entry

I have been wanting to use this stamp since I got it, but just haven;t so when I decided to enter the challenge I decided to use it.  I used the "Check This Out" stamp set and the "Bannerific" stamp set on this card.  I stamped the books in different colors and then cut of the back of the books and the pages then I folded the books where the spine would be and popped them up on pop dots.  I made a shelf out of paper with a wood pattern from K & Company and the wood floor out of the same paper pad.  Then I drew the flower for the painting and cut a frame for it to go inside.  I stamped the banner from "Bannerific" and used a sentiment from Hero Arts "Happiness Messages" and stamped it on the banner and hung the banner off of the shelf.  The wallpaper is from a DCWV paper pad called "Mod Retro"  and the rug is from another K & Company paper pad.  The ruffle around the rug is from a flower ribbon, I cut apart the flower and the ruffle is what was left over.  I think it turned out pretty cute!  Let me know what you think.

Hanging Plaques inspired by AnnieRoseMakesThings on youtube

I make cards as a rule but sometimes I want to do something a little different, so one day I was looking at the blogs I follow and on AnnieRoseMakesThings.blogspot.com, she was making the cutest little hangers using Michaels brand chipboard albums that you can sometimes get in the dollar section.  I had a few of these, and of course had to run out and get some more.  So I pulled out three of them to make for some of my friends.  Here is what I came up with.  Hope you like them and they inspire you as well.
