School has started and I finally got some time to craft.

This card was fun to make.  The turtle I got from http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/.  She has wonderful digital designs and they are very cute.  I used my Copic markers to color the turtle and the tag.  And some baker's twine for the bow and the little flower I got a Michaels in the dollar section.  The papers are from Basic Grey Sweet Threads collection.

This little card was also done with Basic Grey Sweet Threads paper.  The bird stamp is from Paper Smooches Chubby Chums set and the lanterns are form Paper Smooches as well their Hanging

SVGcuts.com Haunted House turned into Christmas House

I have had this Haunted House cut file I bought from SVGcuts.com for a while and just hadn't done anything with it.  Well, this year I saw on their blog some pictures where a lady had turned their haunted house into a Christmas house.  So I decided to pull out the Silhouette and get started.  I really enjoyed this project it was a lot of fun and I think it turned out great.  I love SVGcuts.com, Mary is so ingenious and creative.  I love her designs and have many of them.  I also love that she has video tutorials on how to put her designs together, (I needed to use the tutorial for this one.) it made it so much easier to do.  Anyway,  hope you enjoy this and hope it inspires you too.

Door Plaques for my Nieces for Christmas

I made my two great nieces door plaques for their rooms to give to them for Christmas.  One of them is in 1st grade and loves Elsa, of course.  The other one is in 4th grade and loves Katniss from The Hunger Games, so I made their door plaques using Lettering Delights cut files and Cricut cartridges (Everyday Paper Dolls and Paper Dolls Dress Up).  It was a lot of fun and thankfully they really did like them.  Hope you like them too.

2015 Calendar

Well the new year has begun and so I decided (was inspired) to make a desktop calendar for the year.  I saw a cd case calendar that someone made on the Lawnscaping Challenge website.  I also decided it was time I started using my Silhouette and Cricut more this year, so I pulled opened them up and got to work.  With the help of my Cricut, Make the Cut software, Lawn Fawn stamps & dies, and various other stamps, dies, and diecuts, I got to work.  I had a lot of fun working on this and hope it inspires you too.
